Description

Mirror-effect finish enhances the high quality of stainless steel, emphasizing shapes and design. The surfaces are polished with additives and mechanical brushes made of different materials, which smooth the stainless steel lending it a high gloss. Reflections enrich the object, make it even more precious.
Created in 2010, the silverplated Paris flatware owes its name to the city that Alberto Pinto, its desigber, chose as a place of creation and where he claimed to find the most skilful and talented craftsmen. Alberto Pinto was a great collector and decorator, an explorer of styles, a traveler of time who drew with refinement from history and cultures to create universes charged with memory. From his passion for the arts of the table was born the fruitful relationship with Ercuis. To create this iconic flatware, he chose to reinterpret a great classic of French silversmithing: the motif of the \”ruban croisé\” (crossed ribbon) that wraps itself around the handle. An 18th century inspiration for a creation that is both modern and classic in the pure tradition of French decorative arts.

The L\’Insolent flatware is inspired by the Italian Renaissance, the golden age of setting in silversmithing. Its brightly colored handle is adorned with a fine silver grid of light and elegant arabesques. Using techniques reminiscent of those used in jewelry, the manufacture of this model of Haute Orfèvrerie requires particular skill, meticulousness and ancestral savoir-faire. This original and delicate flatware will enable everyone to set a unique and exclusive table, creating a sophisticated setting for a richly decorated dining table. The handle of the L\’Insolent cutlery and serving pieces comes in four colors: Black, Blue, Ivory, Red and Green. The solid silver grid and the cutlery\’s head also are available in golded sterling silver and in gilt (gold on sterling silver).
